Indy's Finest, a local team in the new Women's American Basketball Association (WABA) www.abalive.com, will be participating in the league's first official season this March 24 2012. The WABA is a professional basketball league expanded from the historical and present ABA and will launch an abbreviated season to kick-off the league. INDIANAPOLIS, IN—Indy’s Finest, a local franchise of the new Women’s American Basketball Association, will be participating in the league’s first official season this March 2012. The WABA will launch an abbreviated season to kick-off the women’s league this March 2012 with an opening tournament hosted in Indianapolis, IN.
